ZTE Axon 30 Ultra price Nepal

The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra and the Axon 30 Pro were launched in China on 15th April 2021. Among them the big star is an Ultra model. It features a premium design with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, industry’s first triple 64MP camera and more. And the good news the company is making an entrant in Nepal with this flagship phone. Having said that, let dive deeper into the specs, features and expected price of ZTE Axon 30 Ultra in Nepal.

ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Overview:

Display and Design

The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra flaunts a gorgeous looking 6.67-inch slightly curved OLED panel. It comes with 144Hz fast refresh rates which can be switched to 90Hz and 120Hz modes. However, it can’t go below 60Hz. Here, the touch sampling rate is 300Hz, which means smooth performance for games. The panel offers 1080p+ resolution, HDR10+, and covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Further, the central punch hole display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 5. Meanwhile, it is unpleasant to see a punch hole camera back as ZTE was the first company to launch the phone with an under display camera. ZTE Axon 20 5G was the world’s first phone with an under display camera.

Moving on, the phone is an attractive slate wrapped with aluminum and glass.  It is available in White, Black, Mint and mint color. Despite that there is also a Special Tan Vegan Leather variant.

The back is curvier than the front and is also protected with a Gorilla Glass 5 layer with a frosted anti-glare finish. The camera bump here is inspired by a Samsung Galaxy S21 series however isn’t as pronounced. It is rectangular with a small tag-like projection on one side. Overall, the phone looks stunning with its premium design.

Performance and Memory

No doubt, the flagship phone will feature a top notch processor. It is configured with the Snapdragon 888 SoC, the most powerful silicone available. The phone will be capable of performing heavy duty tasks at ease as the chip pairs with the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Users will be able to choose between 8GB, 12GB and 16GB of RAM. Similarly, the foremost two option comes with a 256GB of storage whereas the latter packs a whopping 1TB of storage,

The Axon 30 Ultra runs Android 11 OS straight out of the box with ZTE’s MyOS 11 on top. If you are unfamiliar with MyOS it resembles MIUI with a sprinkling of Samsung’s OneUI for good measure.

The handset certainly steals the show with a powerful triple 64MP camera setup. The main sensor is a Sony IMX686 sensor with aperture f/1.6 featuring OIS. Another 64MP module featuring a slightly longer lens with 35mm and f/1.9 aperture. Finally, the last sensor is a 64MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 120-degrees FOV and a 13mm lens. This combination is the industry’s first setup with three 64MP cameras. Moving on, the main camera can record videos at up to 8K @ 30 fps.

Further, the handset also features a fourth module with an 8MP resolution and a periscope lens with 123mm and OIS. This lens offers 5x optical zoom. Here the gap between the periscope lens and main camera is filled by an ultra-wide lens which offers 1.5x magnification.

On the front, the phone packs a punch-hole with a 16MP camera. As I have already mentioned it is a step back from the Under display camera. But finger crossed, ZTE might be saving this tech for its vanilla Axon 30 which hasn’t been launched yet.

Battery and Miscellaneous

The phone gets its juice from a 4,600 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging, sadly you won’t get an option to wirelessly charge your handset.

Further, the phone features a liquid cooling chamber to help with sustained performance, linear vibration motors and linear dual speakers. For connectivity, it gets Wi-Fi 6E support, fully featured NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and 3mic.
