Back in 2020, ZTE took a bold step and launched the world’s first under display camera phone: ZTE Axon 20 5G. However, the camera didn’t live up to expectations. But now the company is all pumped up to unveil its second generation of UD camera phone and has been officially confirmed. ZTE Axon 30 5G will be that phone to come with a second gen camera. Here, let’s find out what more the company packs in the ZTE Axon 30 5G.
ZTE Axon 30 5G Rumored Specifications:
To start with, the Axon 30 5G will feature a similar design as the other members in the lineup namely Axon 30 Pro and Axon 30 Ultra. However, you won’t see any cutouts on the front for the cameras as it packs a second gen UD camera. Also ZTE is making sure that the camera is completely invisible by doubling the pixel density from 200 to 400 ppi. Moreover, the refresh rate will also bump to 120Hz from 90Hz.
Moreover, the display will be AMOLED with a Full HD+ resolution and support for 1B colors and HDR10+ content.
Besides that, there’s no more leaks about the phone. But we can speculate that it will carry the specs from its sibling in the Axon 30 lineup. Thus, we can expect a high performing phone where its core is packed with Snapdragon 888 chipset. It might come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. And one thing for sure it will run on MyOS 11 on top of Android 11.
In the camera department, the handset is expected to harness a quad camera setup with 64MP primary lens, 64MP ultra wide lens, 5MP macro lens and 2MP depth shooter. Upfront, the under display camera might have a resolution of 16MP.
Further, the battery capacity might be 4200mAh with support for fast charging (55W or 66W).
