Display and Design
Redmi Note 10 comes with the screen size of 6.43-inch and Super AMOLED panel. The display has the resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 409 ppi density. This has 20:9 ratio and 83.5% screen to body ratio. Also, the display has a punch hole cut out for the front camera placement on the top middle. Moreover, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Moving on to the design of the phone, it is pretty different from the last year’s Redmi Note 9 Series. Also, all the Redmi Note 10 series have similar kinds of design rather than distinct from each other. The rear panel has the gradient matte color finish which looks stunning. Even the camera module doesn’t have a huge bump on the rear. Similarly, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Most importantly, this device comes with the IP53 rating for dust and splash protection. However, not all the region/market has the IP rating.
Performance and Memory
The powerhouse of the Redmi Note 10 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 chipset. This chipset comes with Adreno 612 GPU to handle the graphics. The octa core CPU has 2 main cores; Kryo 460 Gold clocked at 2.2 GHz. And the other 6 cores are of Kryo 460 Silver clocked at 1.7 GHz. Importantly, it operates on MIUI 12 on top of the latest Android 11.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is available in two RAM variants i.e. 4 GB and 6 GB. The 4 GB RAM is configured with two variants of internal storage; 64 GB and 128 GB. And the 6 GB RAM comes with only 128 GB internal storage option. The storage type is UFS 2.2 which is faster and smoother. Also, there is a microSD card slot to expand the storage.
Camera
Moving on to the lenses, it has quad camera setup on rear and one on front. Rear holds the 48 MP SONY IMX Sensor as primary lens with aperture of f/1.8. It is a 26 mm wide lens which is followed by an 8 MP ultrawide lens. This one has the 118Ëš FOV and aperture of f/2.2. The other remaining two sensors are of 2 MP, one for the macro and another for depth.
On the front punch hole setup hosts a 13 MP sensor with f/2.5 aperture. It is a 1/3.06 inch sensor which is capable of capturing 1080p video at 30 fps.
Battery and Miscellaneous
Talking about the juice of the phone, it comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging which comes inside the box. The company claims it takes 74 minutes to fully charge to 100% from level 0. Similarly, 25 minutes to charge 50%.
Other features are, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, Accelerometer, Gyro, Side-mount fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and many more.
