Xiaomi Nepal launched a new product Xiaomi Redmi 9T couple of days ago in Nepal. If you remember the Redmi 9 Power which was launched earlier in Nepal has the same specs. Yes, the Redmi 9T shares same specifications of Redmi 9 Power. Also, 9T is the global variant where as 9 Power is an Indian variant. Further, 9 power is also a re-branded version of Redmi Note 9 which shares lot of specifications with slight difference over looks. So, here we will be looking for the specifications, features and Redmi 9T Price in Nepal along it’s availability.
Redmi 9T Overview
Display and Design
The new Redmi 9T comes with 6.53” IPS LCD display panel with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It has the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 395 ppi density. Additionally, the screen consists of a water drop notch for the front camera setup. Moreover, it is protect with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display has brightness of 400 nits in typical range.
As mentioned before, the design is same from the Redmi 9 Power. The rear panel has rectangular camera setup which consist quad camera and a flash. Down, there is a branding of “Redmi”. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the right side of the phone. Also, it comes with water-repellent coating for splash resistant.
Camera
Moving on, the quad camera setup at the back consists of same 48 MP wide sensor with aperture of f/1.8. It is accompanied by 8 MP ultra wide lens with FOV of 120-degree having f/2.2 aperture. Then, there is two 2 MP sensors: Macro and Depth. Both has f/2.4 aperture.
Rear cameras are exactly same form the Redmi 9 Power. Similarly, front presents same 8 MP selfie shooter but with f/2.1 aperture. These lenses are capable of capturing 1080p video at 30 fps.
Performance
In the heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Octa Core chipset built on 11nm process. This chipset has a pretty nice performance while handling day to day task. However, during gaming might the phone might lag. Still, the graphics is handled by Qualcomm’s Adreno 610 GPU. Out of eight cores, there is 4 – Kryo 260 Gold cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Whereas, remaining 4 are Kryo 260 Silver cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.
Furthermore, it is configured with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM which comes with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage variants. The 64 GB variant is UFS 2.1 whereas 128 GB is UFS 2.2. Further storage can be expanded using external microSD card.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The juice of the device comes from a massive 6,000 mAh battery. This non removable Li-Po battery supports 18W fast charge. One full charge will give you much power than the required.
It comes with stereo speaker setup with Hi-Res audio. On the connectivity side, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, Infrared, USB Type-C, 4G, and many more. Moreover, it also has the NFC where Indian variant Redmi 9 power doesn’t include it.
Additionally, the phone ships with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.
