The Vivo Y1s made its way to India and soon we’ll see it in Nepalese market. It comes with a large display, big battery life and decent processor. Without wasting time let’s get into the specs, features and price and availability of Vivo Y1s in Nepal.
The Vivo Y1s features a 6.22” Halo FullView LCD panel with an 88.6% screen-to-body ratio. The water drop notch display supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. It comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Considering the entry level price, it comes with thin bezels but the bottom chin is relatively thick. The phone is molded in plastic and comes in two finishes Olive Black and Aurora Blue. The phone also lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Underneath the hood, the phone is driven by the Helio P35 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset that offers midrange performance. The chipset is coupled with 2GB of RAM and onboard storage of 32GB. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage. Software portion is handled by FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.
In terms of optics, the rear panel packs a 13MP lens with a LED flash. Similarly, the selfie camera has a resolution of 5MP. Powering the handset is a 4,030mAh battery. It doesn’t support fast charging and comes with a standard charging. Further, connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a Micro-USB port. The phone also comes with a list of sensors that includes an ambient light, accelerometer, and a proximity sensor.
The handset has arrived in India with a price tag INR 7,990. It comes with lots of offers while purchasing via Jio’s lock-in offer with perks like Rs 4,550 (~$61) worth benefits through Rs 249 (~$3.37) or above recharge, 10 percent benefit of up to Rs 799 (~$11), a 90-day Shemaroo OTT subscription for Rs 99 (~$1), and a one-time screen replacement through OneAssist for Rs 149 (~$2). The latter will be available for six months after purchasing through Jio’s lock-in offer. We expect the price of Vivo Y1s to be around Rs 15,000 when it launches in Nepal.
