TVS India recently launched the all-new TVS Ntorq Race XP with many changes to the prior model. One of the best-selling scooters in Nepal and India has always been interesting to see the new models. TVS has made huge changes in each model. Now, the company has added new features to the XP model like ride modes. Probably, TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP is the first scooter in India with riding modes. Hopefully, Nepal will be getting it sooner. So, let’s take a quick look around the scooter with full specifications, features, and expected price of TVS Ntorq Race XP in Nepal with its availability.

TVS Ntorq Race XP Overview
Design
The Ntorq 125 XP is the new model of TVS Ntorq 125 with changes in features. Before this, we have also seen other models of Ntorq 125 where mostly we could notice was a graphics change. So, keeping in that mind, the design has not changed noticeably but the graphics/sticker job has changed. It comes with the same LED headlamp on the front. It has T-shaped LED DRLs where partition the LED lights. This is the same as the TVS Ntorq Race Edition and the Marvel Squad Edition. The first Ntorq had a halogen headlamp without any DRLs.

Then the handle fairing which is also not changed have the sidelights built in it. However, the side indicators are not LEDs. Moving to the dashboard, we can see the LCD screen as a cluster for the scooter. It now has more details than previous models. It now shows which riding mode are you on and also the voice assistant icon. Others are speedometer, odometer, fuel level indicators, and many more. Then we can see the engine kill switch, self-start button, and hazard switch on the right side of the handlebar. On the left side of the handlebar, the high-low beam switch, side indicator switch, and riding mode switch button can be seen.
Looking at the seats, it has no change at all. Under-seat, there is the storage unit. And the body has only graphics changes, where grab rail is also the same. It has a telescopic fork on the front and coil spring with Hydraulic Dampers on the rear. It weighs 116 kg (Kerb weight) only with a ground clearance of 155mm.

Engine
TVS Ntorq Race XP comes with a 124.8 cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder with a three-valve engine. It is an SI engine and is an air cooling system. Mainly, it uses Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-FI) engine. Moreover, it can generate max power of 10.2 PS @ 7000 RPM and max torque of 10.78 Nm @ 5,500 RPM. Power and torque have been increased by around 0.8ps and 0.3Nm. And Ntorq became the first 125cc scooter in India with 10ps power.
Further, it comes with 5.8 liters of fuel tank capacity. And has an automatic centrifugal clutch. The two riding modes Race and Street is something new for the scooter. Race mode can be used on open roads like highways which can achieve a top speed of 98 Km/h. Similarly, the Street mode can be used while on city roads having small commutes. Street mode helps in improving fuel efficiency.

Suspensions, Wheels and Brakes
It uses a telescopic suspension front with Hydraulic dampers. The rear is built with a single-side coil spring shock absorber with hydraulic dampers. The TVS Ntorq Race XP comes with 12-inch Aluminum-alloy wheels both front and rear. Here, it has a 100/80 – 12” – tubeless tire on the front. Rear one measures 110/80 – 12” – tubeless tire.
The scooter is given out disc brake on front and drum brake at the rear. The front brake measures 220 mm and has an SBT system. SBT stands for Synchronized Braking Technology where it helps in reducing the distance faster while braking. This means the SBT system activates the front brake when the rear brake is used manually. And the rear drum brake is measured 130 mm.
