Tecno Spark 7 has been launched in India. It is the successor to last year’s Spark 6 handset. The handset brings a tall aspect ratio display with a water drop notch, a huge battery, and latest Android OS. Display and Design
The Tecno Spark 7 is fitted with a 6.5” IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. And as it is a low end device, it doesn’t bring any fancy high refresh rate, neither comes with any kind of glass protection.
Speaking of design, the smartphone sports a waterdrop notch display. Here, the top bezels consist of LEDs which will serve as a flash helper for the selfie camera. Then there’s a Tecno branding at the bottom left of the rear panel. Whereas the top portion is flanked by a rectangular camera housing. And just besides it lies a fingerprint scanner. The phone comes in three color options: Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue, and Spruce Green.
Camera
For optics, the back panel of the phone has a rectangular camera housing that includes an AI powered 16MP dual camera system with an LED flash. The secondary camera is a less appealing depth helper that the company advertises features Video Bokeh. The module is capable of 120fps slow motion videos.
Similarly, the notch on the display serves as a home for an 8MP camera.
Performance and Memory
The Spark 7 is driven by a modest Helio A25 chipset. For those unaware, it is an octa-core processor with Cortex-A53 cores operating at 1.8GHzbased on 12nm fabrication. The company is offering the phone with 2GB of RAM with 32GB of Internal storage and 3GB with 64GB of storage. You can easily expand the storage, thanks to the dedicated microSD card slot.
Linking the hardware is Tecno’s HiOS software 7.5 on top of Android 11. Similarly, it comes with its own implementation of Dark mode, bubble notifications, Bluetooth Audio Share 2.0 and more.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The Spark 7 draws power from a huge 6,000mAh battery, which supports only 10W charging. The company promises more than 30 days of standby time with it. But on one buys a smartphone to let it stand for thirty days. However, we expect a backup of one day and half with modest usage.
It is a 4G phone with VoLTE support. Likewise, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack with an FM radio receiver.

Tecno Spark 7 Price in Nepal and Availability
The Tecno Spark 7 will be up for purchase through Amazon India starting from April 16. The 2/32 GB edition is priced at INR 7,500. On the other side, its 3/64 GB edition costs INR 8,500.
