The Symphony Z40 is a budget offering from the company which packs a mediocre Helio G35 SoC and Triple rear camera setup. Display and Design

The handset features a 6.55-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It is an IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner. It is impressive for a smartphone with this price range to come with a punch-hole display. However, like other budget offerings the bezels are noticeable with the chin bezel being thicker.

The core of Symphony Z40 is configured with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. This octa-core chipset with a max frequency of 2.3 GHz is based on a 12nm fabrication process. It is paired with  PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at 680 MHz.

The phone is available in two different configurations. You can either go with 3GB RAM or 32GB of storage or choose 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, Anyway, the storage can be expanded up to 64GB using an external MicroSD card.

Moving on, the handset operates on Android 10 offering a near-stock Android experience.

Camera

For optics, the rectangular camera housing at its rear packs a three-camera module along with a LED flash. The primary camera here is a 13MP lens and is accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Likewise, for selfies and video calls, there’s a 13MP lens on the punch hole.
