Samsung Galaxy A22 4G was launched along with the 5G variant back in June. However, the pricing of the former wasn’t mentioned. Now, the the handset has been official in Nepalese market. So, in this post, let’s find out the specs, features and official price of Samsung Galaxy A22 4G in Nepal.

Design and Display
The Galaxy A22 4G comes with a slightly smaller 6.4-inches display with U shaped notch. It is a Super AMOLED panel unlike the LCD panel in the 5G variant. However, the resolution is restricted to HD+ but retains a 90Hz refresh rate.
As the 5G model this one also comes with a polycarbonate body. The back panel also features a squarish camera module but now the LED flash is placed outside of the bump. It is also available in four colors – Black, Mint, White, and Violet.
Further, the handset measures 159.3 x 73.6 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186g. This means the 4G variant is lighter as well as slimmer compared to 5G variant.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the handset packs a MediaTek Helio G80. It is a 12nm chip with two Cortex-A75 performance and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The chipset supports MediaTek Hyper Engine, which provides better gaming performance through better management of CPU, GPU, and network resources.
In terms of memory it comes in two option as well as two storage variant. The base variant features 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Similarly, the top tier options packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is also another model with 4GB RAM and 128GB bultin storage. There’s also room for adding extra storage.
Camera
The smartphone features a quad-camera setup at its back. The module is led by a 48MP primary camera, which comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Other modules in the setup are an 8MP ultra-wide camera and two 2MP sensors for portrait and macro shots. On the front is a 13MP snapper for good looking selfies.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The Galaxy A22 4G packs a decent 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It comes with support for Dolby Atmos audio and Samsung pay. Other notable features are dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C and NFC.
