Samsung has unveiled the successor to the Galaxy A11: Samsung Galaxy A12 in Nepalese market. The handset is the budget offering from the company with improved camera and battery. Having said that, let’s take a look at the specs, features , expected price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A12 in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Overview
Display and Design
The Galaxy A12 flaunts a 6.5” HD+ TFT display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels. It comes with Infinity V notch for selfie camera and the bezels are noticeable. Compared to the bezels around the screen, the button chin is slightly thick.
The handset carries the unibody design, molded with a single case that wraps all four edges until it meets the display. The case has a dual tone finish with a textured look. The upper portion of the case is a home for a square camera module while the lower portion flaunts SAMSUNG branding.
The squarish camera module makes room for a quad camera setup and just below it lies a LED flash. The hero in the setup is a 48MP main shooter with an f/2.0 aperture which is a quiet upgrade over 13MP on Galaxy A11. Similarly, a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth units are also present. Further, the company has added a 2MP macro lens.
On the front is an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 residing inside the Infinity V notch display.
Performance and Memory
The handset is driven by an octa-core chipset with two clusters operating at frequencies of 1.8Ghz and 2.3Ghz. However, Samsung hasn’t specified the actual processor. But our speculation says that it might come with a MediaTek ‘s Helio P35. Similarly, the company hasn’t spoken about the Android version that it will ship with. Again, we expect it to run with Android 10 with One UI 2.5 on the top.
Besides that, the handset will be available in three memory configurations – 3GB, 4GB and 6GB. Also, there are options for three different storage –32GB, 64GB and 128GB. These storages can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
