Samsung has added another device to its Core lineup after numerous leaks and speculation – Galaxy A01 Core. After J2 Core 2020 it is the second deice in the lineup for 2020. Like the J2 core it is the budget offering with outdated design and specifications. It packs entry level specification similar to other similar devices.
Samsung A01 Core features a compact 5.3” PLS HD+ display. The display is surrounded by thick bezels and has aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Similar to other budget devices, it comes with plastic body.
Furthermore, there is a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Around the back, it spots an 8MP camera. Similarly, there is a signature Samsung branding.
The Galaxy A01 makes use of a Mediaek MT6739 quad-core processor. It is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16/32GB of storage space. As of now, the 32GB of storage gets filled in no time so there is an option for microSD card.
The device boots Android 10 (Go Edition). Inside, there is a 3,300mAh battery which offers up to 17 hours of 4G talk time, 14 hours of LTE or Wi-FI usage according to Samsung. As it is an entry level smartphone, fast charging isn’t available. Micro-USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, GLONASS are he connectivity option available.

The Galaxy A01 Core has been launched in Indonesia with a starting price tag of IDR 1,099,000. It is offered in Blue, Black and Red color option. You should be ready to spend nearly Rs. 12,000 to get hands on to this device.
