The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max flaunts a 6.67” Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) Super AMOLED display. It is a flat display with Full HD+ resolution. 120Hz refresh rate and a2.96mm centered punch hole. It is the first note series from the company to pack AMOLED display and higher refresh rate. The bezels around the display is relatively thin (for its price bracket). The panel has a peak brightness of 1200 nits, 45000000:1 contrast ratio, covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, and supports HDR10. Further the panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Interestingly, even though the display is AMOLED the company has opted side mounted fingerprint scanner.
Unlike, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, it comes with a new design which the company refers to “Evol. Design”. Around the back, the phone features an unspecified frosted (matte) glass panel and a new camera layout. The camera island is rectangular but with rounded corners camera module that carries the same aesthetic as the Xiaomi mi 11 and Mi 10 Ultra. The device comes in three color options: Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue, and Dark Night.
Furthermore, the phones measures 164.5 x 76.2 x 8.1 mm and weighs 192g. Also, the phone is splash resistant.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max camera system is headlined by a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor. It is the same sensor used in Xiaomi Mi 10i which produces sharp images with 9-in-1 pixel binning (results in 12MP shots). Similarly, it is flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with 118° FOV, 5MP Super Macro with 2X Telephoto, and 2MP depth sensor. On the heart of Note 10 Pro Max lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, the same chipset which powers the Poco X3. It is a subtle upgrade over Snapdragon 720G that was used in Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. In terms of memory it comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone ships with MIUI 12 based on android 11.
