Realme launched the Realme Watch 2 nearly a month ago and that was their take on a budget fitness smartwatch. Now, the company has expanded its portfolio with the latest Realme Watch 2 Pro. It does not look very different from the Watch 2, as there is still a single button on the right-hand side and the watch comes with a removable silicone strap. Display and Design
The Watch 2 Pro is among the largest smartwatches with 12.65mm thickness and 40 grams weight. It flaunts a large 1.75-inch display with a 385 x 320 resolution. On the contrary it is 56% larger than the previous model. The panel has a 30 fps refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Similarly, the watch supports over 100 different watch faces and few live watch faces.
Moving on, the watch comes with a 22mm liquid silicone strap. Here the straps can be swapped with any other third party straps. They are available in two colorways – light grey and black. Meanwhile, the case comes in Space Grey and Metallic Silver finishes. Further, the smartwatch is IP68 rated for protection against water and dust.
Features
Like most of the smartwatches, the watch brings all the basic health and fitness features. It packs the usual slew of sensors such as a heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor and 3-axis accelerometer. With these the watch can track the heart rate of the user, map their blood oxygen levels, and even track sleep cycles, steps, calories consumed, distance covered, and more.
Apart from that, the smartwatch ships with 16 workout modes out of the box including run, walk, strength exercise, football horse riding, hockey, table tennis, badminton, elliptical, yoga, cricket, boxing, bowling, and more. However, the company has promised to offer 90 different sports modes where the remaining will be added via OTA update later.
Further, the wearable also comes with some smart features like caller ID, reject/silence incoming calls, weather updates, notifications from apps on phone, and reminders. It can also be used to control media playback and snap photos on the phone.
Moreover, the major addition of the latest wearable from the previous one is a dual-channel GPS. It allows you to track multiple outdoor activities independent of a smartphone. Other features include sedentary reminder, drink reminder, and mediation breathing.
Battery and Miscellaneous
As for the battery life, the Watch 2 Pro comes with a 390mAh battery cell and is rated to last up to 14 days on a single charge. However, the battery life will vary depending on the usage of GPS and other features on the watch.
For connectivity, the wearable comes with Bluetooth 5.0. It can be connected to the smartphone through the Realme Link App. The app also offers additional functionality.
