Realme has launched the cheapest 5G smartphone till date in China. Realme V3 is a new member of V lineup unveiled along with the eye catching new X7 series. The smartphone also offers impressive specification for its price range. It is offered in two colors and three storage configuration. Realme V3 Overview
Display and Design
The handset features a 6.5” IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a waterdrop notch on the top.
Similarly, the panel is surrounded by thin bezels on the side and the top. Compared to side and top bezels the bottom chin is relatively thick. The back features a square housing to host rear cam. Likewise, you’ll find a fingerprint sensor just below the square cutout, aligned center.
For photography, there is a triple camera module on the back. The main module here is 13MP primary sensor. It is teamed with a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The handset brings an 8MP shooter housed in the notch for selfies.
The MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC Is the heart of the handset. Thus, the chipset makes the phone capable of dual-mode 5G. You can choose between three configurations: 6/64GB, 6/128GB and 8/128GB.
On the software front, the it boots on Android 10 with Realme UI out of the box.
Battery and Miscellaneous
Realme has fitted a 5,000mAh battery on the handset. It charges at the standard 18W rate through a USB Type-C port.
It supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port for connectivity.
Realme V3 Price and Availability in Nepal
Realme has packed decent features on the handset. However, it is available in China only for now and global availability hasn’t been disclosed. The handset is available for pre-order in China and will receive it’s first sell on Sept 17. The standard 6/128GB variant cost CNY 999 whereas top end 8/128GB variant costs CNY 1,399 in China
We assume that handset pricing will start at NPR 17,000 if it gets available in Nepal.
