Recently, Vivo confirmed that the company is working on a new mobile operating system named Origin OS. This new OS will replace the existing FunTouch OS custom UI.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo Origin OS to be launched on 18th November. For this, Vivo is holding a special event, VDC 2020 in Shenzhen, China. The new system will offer a new experience to the users.

Origin OS Interface

Teasers of upcoming operating system, revealed that the company is developing the project under Origin Studio. The project carries the slogan “Brave New World”. Which also confirmed a complete maintain of the user interface.

Vivo has not said much about the Origin OS. But earlier reports showed that the company will be offering two different types of interface for the users. One is OriginOS it self and other is Stock Android. In addition, users will be able to choose and switch between the two interface themselves.

Along with the launch of this new Android-based mobile Operating System, Vivo is expected to announce several other products as well. At this 2020 Vivo Developer Conference; new games including new applications, business partnerships, and many more will be announced.

The company had also stated that the new custom user interface will be available for Vivo’s existing smartphones as well. To know for sure which devices will be compatible with the Origin OS, we will have to wait for the official launch. however, we’ll know more soon, but we do expect Vivo to tease some new features as well, until the official event takes place.
