Oppo announced the latest mid-range 5G smartphone: Oppo K9 5G. The brand also announced other products like; TWS earphones, fitness bands and smart TVs. However, the key focus of the launch was the new smartphone. So, let’s take a look at the specs, features, expected price of the Oppo K9 5G in Nepal along with its availability.
Oppo K9 5G Overview
Display and Design
The Oppo K9 5G features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ panel. It is a Super AMOLED panel which has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The flat punch hole display with thin bezels comes with 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the display consists of a sixth-gen under display fingerprint scanner.
Further, the back of the phone comes with a camera module holding triple camera setup. Rear is given matte finish and it is made out of glass. Also, the device is just 7.9 mm thick and weighs around 172 grams only.
Performance and Memory
The K9 is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G chipset. It is an octa-core processor with the prime core clocked at 2.8Ghz. Similarly, the graphics section is handled by Adreno 620 GPU. This device is slight gaming focused, that’s why we got to see the liquid cooling in this. It comes with a 3D liquid cooling system which will boost the gaming experience.
Moreover, it is configured with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. And for the storage there are two options, 128 GB and 256 GB variants. Linking the hardware is Android 11 on top of ColorOS 11.1.
Camera
The phone comes with a triple camera setup on rear. The main camera here uses a 64 MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The last sensor in a setup is a 2 MP macro lens with aperture of f/2.4. The setup is capable of shooting 4K videos at up to 30fps and slow-motion videos at 1080p@120fps.
On the front, there is a 32 MP selfie camera within the punch-hole to take good looking selfies and for video calling. It can shoot up to 1080p/30fps regular videos.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The 4,300mAh battery is the prior thing for the device. It comes with support for a 65W fast charger in the box. Company claims that 5 min of charge can provide 2 hours of battery life for standard use. According to the company, the phone can charge 100% in just 35 minutes.
Further, the phones include a dual SIM slot with 5G connectivity, and Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack port. Unfortunately, you won’t find a micro SD slot in the phone.

Oppo K9 5G Price in Nepal and Availability
The device was announced in China recently. But there’s no news for the global launch. Moreover, the pricing goes like CNY 1,999 for the 8/128 GB variant and CNY 2,199 for 8/256 GB.
Still, we can expect the Oppo K9 price in Nepal to start at NPR 43,000, if and when it launches here.
