OPPO officially launched the OPPO F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ in India. These new handsets follow up to the OPPO F17 and F17 Pro from last year. They bring several upgrades over their predecessors, including a more premium design, upgraded cameras, a powerful chipset, and a bigger battery. And the good news is the upper mid-range Oppo F17 Pro has been launched in Nepal. Let’s find out the detailed specs, features and price of Oppo F19 Pro in Nepal along with its availability.
Oppo F19 Pro Overview
The Oppo F17 Pro was launched in Nepal for the price of Rs 43,990 for 8/128GB last year. It delivered exceptional build quality with sleek design, a good looking AMOLED display and a convenient 30W fast charging support. Now the Oppo F19 Pro carries what made its predecessor attractive. The highlights of the F19 Pro are:
- 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0
- AI Color Portrait Video
- Dual-View Video
- System Performance Optimizer
Display and Design
The Oppo F19 Pro features a 6.4” AMOLED display with FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080) resolution. The display has a single punch hole cutout instead of a pill shaped dual punch hole seen in the predecessor. Unfortunately, the handset also doesn’t come with a fascinating 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate but you get 135Hz touch sampling rate. It can be increased all the way up to 180Hz during gaming. Additionally, it has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.80% and pixel density of 409ppi. Further, the display covers 100% of SRGB and 92% of the DCI P3 color gamut and produces over 16 million colors. For brightness, it can be as high as 800 nits.

Talking about the design, the curved rear panel has a rough matte finish available in three colors – Crystal Silver, Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. It is a sleek smartphone weighing 172gm and just 7.8mm thick. There is a power button on the right, volume buttons on the left and Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grills on the button of the frame.
Performance and Memory
The Oppo F19 Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio P95 which is the same chipset used on the F17 Pro. This chipset is one-year-old now and pales in comparison to the Snapdragon 732G that powers Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. However, the Oppo’s new System Performance optimizer reduces lags and helps for longer phone usage.
For memory, the handset is available in a single memory configuration of 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. However, you get a two storage (UFS 2.2) option to choose for: 128GB and 256GB.
Further, the phone ships with ColorOS 11 on top of Android 11. Also, it comes with dedicated Game mode with support for Bullet Notification extended to WhatsApp and Telegram.
Camera

Oppo F19 Pro comes with a similar camera module as seen on the predecessor. It flaunts a quad camera setup with a primary lens being 48MP with f/1.7 aperture which uses a 6P lens. It is complemented by an 8MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a pair of gimmicky 2MP macro cameras. The setup is capable of shooting 4k footage at 30fps. Similarly, you can shoot 1080p footage at 30fps with EIS enabled.
On the front is a 16MP camera packed inside the tiny punch hole design. It has camera features like Photo, video, panorama, portrait, night, time-lapse, beautification and more. It can shoot video in 1080p/720p@30fps with EIS enabled. Apart from this, users can now record videos using front and rear camera simultaneously using dual view video mode.
Battery and Miscellaneous

A decent 4310mAh battery fuels this smartphone which supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. With this charger you can get 0-100% in roughly 65 minutes. Also, with just 5 min of charging you can get up to 3.5 hours of video playback.
For security, the fingerprint scanner is placed underneath the screen. Similarly, for connectivity, the handset features Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5GHz, GNSS (BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo, GPS) and 4G LTE.
Out of all, the device ships with both earphone and charger out of the box.
