Oppo has officially unveiled a new TWS headset expanding its Enco Free series. The new model called the Oppo Enco Free 2 was launched in an event along the Reno 6 series. The latest TWS brings in significant upgrades like Active Noise Cancellation up to 42dB and audio tuning by DYNAUDIO. DYNAUDIO is a popular Danish company that provides audio solutions. Keeping this aside let’s dive into the specs, features and expected price of Oppo Enco Free 2 in Nepal along with its availability.
OPPO Enco Free 2 Overview
The OPPO Enco Free2 drops the semi-open design of Enco Free and brings in an in-ear design. It uses a low-pressure streamline design so that every curved surface fits gently in the ear. The earbuds ship with extra silicone caps to match your ear canal and provide tight fit.
On the other hand, the charging case comes in a cobblestone like shape. Both the earbuds and the case come in a matching color. There’s an indicator light and a USB Type C port on the case.
In addition, each earbud weighs 4.4g and harnesses IP54 rating against dust and water splashes.
Audio and Noise Cancellation
The Oppo Enco Free 2 features a 10mm moving coil driver. It supports both AAC/SBC codecs. And most importantly it is tuned by DYNAUDIO. Similar collaboration was seen in the past in the flagship Enco X earbuds.
Further, this new TWS features a new triple-core noise reduction chip. This chip is said to improve the noise reduction greatly. The chip also ensures that the noise reduction depth of these earbuds reach 42dB (best in the price range). Moreover, the TWS comes with three levels of noise cancellation so that you can restore your peace whether in work, study or on a trip.
Furthermore, it comes with triple microphone for call noise reduction.
Connectivity and controls
The Enco Free 2 uses a Bluetooth 5.2 low latency transmission. It has a minimum latency of 42ms which makes it suitable for gaming.
As for the controls, each earbud has a large touch area which allows the user to operate the device easily. The controls gesture available are long-press, double-tap, slide, and triple tap. A long press on gesture will switch the noise cancellation/transparency mode. Likewise, triple taping will wake up the voice assistant mode. Similarly, you get full controls for calls, media, and volume.
Further, there is a remote photo capture and VLOG shoot mode. Unfortunately, the remote capture mode is currently available on the Oppo Reno 6 series only for now. But the company says it will roll out to other smartphones as well.
Battery and miscellaneous
The earbuds are fueled by a 41mAh battery and the case packs a 480mAh battery. Oppo promises 4 hours of playback with ANC enabled and 6.5 hours when ANC is disabled with this new pair of earbuds. In addition, the case will contribute for up to 30 hours of playback.
