Oppo A53 was debuted in India a couple of weeks ago and now has officially launched in Nepal . It is the successor to Oppo A52 and revamped version of the original A53 which was launched back in 2015. The handset is the latest answer to the Realme, Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones in the mid-range segment with features like 90Hz display and triple rear camera. Oppo A53 2020 Overview
Display and design
The Oppo A53 packs a 6.5” IPS LCD display with highlighted 90Hz display. It comes with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Further, on the top left corner of the screen there is a punch hole cutout for selfie camera.
The handset has prominent bottom bezels and a plastic fiber body to give a glass like look. The back of the phone flaunts a 3D indecent wave design. It is available in three colors Fairy White, Electric Black and Fancy Blue. Furthermore, the rear features a fingerprint sensor and triple rear camera setup.
Camera
The triple rear camera on the handset is the combination of 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, it offers 16MP front shooter with an f/2.0 lens.
Performance
The device has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 Soc as its heart which power the device. The chipset is based on 11nm process with 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 240 & 4×1.6 GHz Kryo 240 alongside Adreno 610 as its GPU. It comes in two memory configuration, base configuration being 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other memory configurations 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the software front, it boots on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on the top. It brings a feature called RAM+ Anti-Lag. According to Oppo this feature uses a “PC-grade technology” to reduce lag time while opening or running an app.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The handset gets fuel from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Also, it features a stereo speaker system with Dirac’s audio optimization.
Father, the handset supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, USB Type-C and headphone jack for connectivity.
