Oppo Nepal has launched the Oppo A15 in Nepal. It is the latest budget-oriented smartphone from the company and second in the A10 series. The first in the series was Oppo A12, which recently had a price drop in Nepalese market. Oppo A15 made its debut in India in Oct 2020. The major highlights of the handset are a trendy design, a teardrop notch display, a big battery, and a triple camera setup. Display and Design
The handset features a 6.52” IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The teardrop notch display produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. According to the company, the phone can automatically adjust the brightness of the display based on usage behavior of the user.
Moving on to the design aspect, the smartphone comes with a polycarbonate chassis with curved edges. It has a dimension of 164 x 75 x8mm. At the back, there’s a triple camera module hosted in a square module. Just below it lies a fingerprint scanner.
The square shaped camera module has a primary lens of 13MP. It is supported by two 2MP image sensors: for macro and portrait shots respectively. For selfies, the handset possesses a 5MP front facing camera.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood lies a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It’s a budget chipset from MediaTek with eight Cortex A53 cores having a maximum clock speed of up to 2.3GHz. The smartphone comes with a 3GB Ram onboard. It has a storage capacity of 32Gb and a micro-SD for extra storage.
For better user experience, the phone comes preinstalled with a ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS.

Oppo A15 is a budget-oriented smartphone with a good design and decent specs. However, with the presence of smartphones like Redmi 9C and Realme C3 it might face a hard time.
