A new electric motorcycle that can travel 120 kilometers on a full charge has arrived in Nepal. White Lotus Company Pvt. Ltd. has imported the Indian Brand One Electric to Nepal. So, the bike we are talking about here is the One Electric Kridn. Kridn means “To Play” in Sanskrit, pronounced as Kri-den or Kree-Done.
The use of EVs in Nepal is increasing as people are convinced that EVs are a far better option than petrol/diesel engines. At the same time, another reason is the rapid increase in the price of Petrol. Many electric bikes and scooters have been launched in Nepal. However, popular brands have always been the people’s choice, and new brands lag unnoticed. One Electric is a new brand introduced in Nepal, hoping to break the chain.
One Electric Kridn Overview
Performance (Motor and Battery)
Performance and power are what we seek in any vehicle, whether it be electric or fuel powered. The Kridn by One Electric with a 5500W peak-powered motor won’t disappoint you. It is equal to 7 PS power in a fuel engine, allowing you to drive at a top speed of 95km per hour. The motor is placed in the rear wheel like many other electric bikes. However, the base rated power of the motor is 3KW.
Similarly, to power up the powerful motor, the Kridn electric bike is provided with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3 KWh. It takes 5 hours to charge the battery fully. The company claims that its electric motorbike will give a range of up to 120 kilometers on a single charge. Moreover, Kridn has two ride modes available that are Eco and Normal. Where the 110+ Km range is obviously for the eco mode only, however, the normal mode will provide a range of 80 Km.
More on the performance section, the Kridn can go 0 to 60 mph in just 8 seconds, thanks to its powerful 5.5KW motor equivalent to 7.37 HP. Similarly, the bike generates 160+ Nm torque. Thus, there won’t be any problem going uphill.
The mentioned top speed of 95 Kmph can be attained only in normal mode, whereas the eco mode can do up to 50 Kmph.
If you look at the design of the KRIDN, it has been manufactured in a very attractive design. Most of the parts look identical to the petrol bikes. The company has designed the bike in such a way that people won’t hesitate to buy the bike instead of the petrol counterparts.
The look is pretty much comparable to the old classic bikes like Honda CG, Yamaha RX, and more. It has a simple straight seat with a plain tank design. The tank serves as the showpiece. Just below the tank lies the battery of the electric bike.
The bike is molded mostly with fiber plastic. Only a few parts of the bike are made of metal. The headlamp, tank, tail light housing, and mudguards are all made with fiber plastic. Even the battery cover/ housing is also made with fiber plastic. However, parts like the leg guard, saree guard, and grab rail for pillion riders are made of metal. Let’s say protective elements are made with metal which is a must for safety purposes. Overall, the build quality is 60% made with plastic fiber, and the remaining 40% is metal.
Further, the bike incorporates all the riders, either short or tall, as it comes with a short height.
Suspension, Wheels, and Brakes
Moving on to the wheels, on the front is a 16-inch tubeless tire wrapped on a 220mm disc brake. The Kridn motorcycle has telescopic and hydraulic suspension at the front, which you see in almost all electric two-wheelers.
The company has placed two shock absorbers on the rear, whereas the wheel size is 17-inch with a tubeless tire. The disc brake on the rear is measured at 240 mm in diameter.
Features and Miscellaneous
Checking on the dashboard console of the Kridn bike, you will see a small LED display. The display will show you essential information like speed, range or percentage, and voltage of the battery. You will also see the ODOmeter and riding modes. Moreover, there are two light indicators for the left indicator and the right light indicator. Also, the headlamp indicator is there for high beam light.
The range is limited to 120 kilometers because the company has increased the speed. This bike’s top speed is up to 95 Km in normal mode and 50 Km in eco mode, which might be one of the reasons the range is limited to 120 kilometers.

Only very few 2-wheeler EVs can provide a range of 120Km on a single charge through a single battery.
