Nokia has launched yet another phone in Nepalese market. The Nokia G10 is the latest budget entrant from the brand to land in Nepal. Here, the G10 is a downgraded version of Nokia G20 which was launched earlier in the country. This new handset boasts MediaTek Helio G25, triple camera setup and a 5050mAh battery. Display and Design
Nokia G10 brings an IPS LCD display of 6.5-inch. It is a full HD+ panel with resolution of 720×1600 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The teardrop notch on the top center houses a selfie camera. Whereas the screen is surrounded by thin bezels but the chin is considerably thicker with Nokia branding.
The handset is built around a polycarbonate chassis with textured back for strong grip. There is a circular camera housing and of course Nokia branding around the back. On the frame is a fingerprint sensor for securing the device. It is available in two different finishes Dusk and Night.
Performance and Memory
As I have mentioned earlier its core is configured with a MediaTek Helio G25 coupled with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. In terms of memory configuration, the base variant is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also another variant packing 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. You can expand the storage by the use of a microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 11 delivering ads free experience. The key selling point of Nokia devices has always been software. And as expected, the company provides up to two years. Also, the phone will receive three years of security updates.
Talking about the camera department, Nokia G10’s rear panel is a home for triple camera setup. The setup is led by a 13MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The setup comes with AI modes and helps to capture special memories with more fun. For selfies, the phone houses an 8MP camera on its V shaped notch. Both the rear and the back setup is capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery and Miscellaneous
This phone is backed by a decent 5,050mAh non-removable battery that you can rely on for days. The company states that the battery will keep going and will last up to 3 days after a full charge. Further, it supports 10W charging via USB Type-C port.
