Earlier this month Nokia launched its G20 handset in Nepal. And now the company is back again with a new smartphone from a most affordable C lineup. The phone goes by the name Nokia C20. Here, in this article we will go through the specs, features, and official price of Nokia C20 in Nepal.
Nokia C20 overview
Display and Design
Nokia C20 comes with a pretty modern design for an entry-level phone. The phone packs a 6.5-inches LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and peak brightness of 400 nits. Likewise, the screen covers 70% NTSC color space.
Further, the panel is surrounded by narrow bezels and consists of water drop notch. Apparently, the top and the bottom bezels are quite thick. The top bezel houses a LED flash and the bottom bezel comes with onia branding. On top of the panel is a thin layer of Panda Glass for protection.
Moving on the body is made of cheap polycarbonate which is eminent in budget phones. The back of the phone comes with a circular camera module in the middle and a speaker grille. Unfortunately, the phone lacks a fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the phone comes in two colors – Dark Blue and Sand.
Performance and memory
The Nokia C20 is powered with entry-level Unisoc SC9863A processors manufactured by Unisoc. It is an octa-core processor based on a 28nm fabrication process with prime core clocked at 16GHz. In contrast, the performance of this chipset is nearly close to the Snapdragon 429 and Helio P22.
Moreover, the handset comes in two memory options: 1/16 GB and 2/32 GB. You’ll get extra room to expand these storages via a microSD card.
As we have seen the C20 packs an entry-level chipset and less RAM the device ships with the Android 11 Go Edition. If it was not the go edition, this hardware would not be sufficient to guarantee decent performance. However, the software delivers pure stock android experience with no ads and bloatware.
Meanwhile, the company is promising 2 years of security updates. The phone will receive an update every quarter.
Nokia C20 sports an entry level camera as well. It has just one camera on the front and the one on the back. Both the camera utilizes the 5MP sensor, both provided with LED flash for taking photos in the dark.
Battery and Miscellaneous
A 3000mAh removable battery fuels the whole package. It is not a big battery when compared to other phones and can be rated below-average. Since the device comes with entry-level specifications (such as the HD+ display and the low-end Unisoc chipset), it guarantees a good battery life.
Further, the phone comes with usual features such as 4G connectivity, dual-SIM slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.2, 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB 2.0.
