MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro Overview
The Superveloce Serie Oro is a limited edition of the Superveloce 800 motorbike which is available in Nepal. Here on the front, there is a round-shaped LED headlamp and a bubble windscreen/ wind visor. The design is a complete racing look that holds an early-time sportbikes design with that circular headlight. Even the tail lamp is round-shaped. The Serie Oro has two exhausts on the right and one on the left, whereas the regular model has all three on the right side.
The tank is quite similar to the standard MV Agusta Superveloce 800. However, this one contains a one-of-a-kind fuel cap with a leather strap. Looking at the seats, it has an Alcantara-covered seat. The handlebar placement is fully aggressive where the rider will need to lean down. It has a USD telescopic forks on the front and a single-sided wing arm with a single shock absorber on the rear. It weighs 173 kg (dry weight).
MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro comes with a 798 cc 4-stroke, triple-cylinder with a 12 valve engine. It is a DOHC engine with a mechanical chain tensioner and it has a separated liquid and oil cooling radiators for the cooling system. Moreover, it can generate max power of 150 PS @ 13,000 RPM and max torque of 88 Nm @ 10,600 RPM. It is a chain drive engine, instead, it has a gold DID chain.
Further, it comes with 16.5 liters of fuel tank capacity. Moreover, it has an integrated ignition-injection system MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) with six injectors Engine control unit Eldor EM2.0. It comes with a quick shift: MV EAS 2.1 (Electronically Assisted shift Up & Down). And a multi-disc wet slipper clutch and Cassette-styled six-speed constant mesh transmission.
The telescopic suspension used on the front is Marzocchi’s upside-down telescopic hydraulic fork with rebound-compression damping. Also, the spring preload external and separate adjustment is available in it. The suspension measures 43mm in diameter where it has 125mm of travel. Similarly, the rear suspension is a single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping by Progressive Sachs. Importantly, it has a single-sided wing arm made up of Aluminum alloy.
Wheels and Brakes
The MV Agusta Superveloce Serie Oro comes with 17-inch Aluminum alloy spoke wheels both front and rear. Here, it has 120/70 – ZR 17 M/C 58W Pirelli Diable Rosso Corsa II tubeless tire on the front. The rear one is also Pirelli Diablo Rosso II but it measures 180/55 – ZR 17 M/C 73W.
The motorcycle’s front brakes are 320 mm double floating discs with radially mounted four-piston Brembo Monoblock calipers. And the rear brakes are 220 mm discs with two-piston Brembo calipers. It comes with an ABS for more safety with BOSCH 9 Plus with Race Mode and RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation).
