Motorola Moto E7 Power Overview
Display and Design
The phone flaunts a 6.5” Max Vision Display which is an IPS LCD panel. This panel produces resolutions of 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+) and 269PPI. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an 85% screen-to-body ratio. The screen also has a dewdrop notch at the top center for selfie cameras.
Talking about the build, the phone features a plastic body and a plastic frame. It comes in two colors, namely Tahiti Blue and Coral Red. Its rear panel houses a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner with the iconic Motorola Batwing logo embedded on it. More on the design it has a water repellent coating and IP52 certification against water and dust.
Performance and Memory
The device is driven by MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. You can choose between 2/32 GB and 4/64 GB of memory configuration. Similarly, it is also possible to install a memory card up to 1 TB to enjoy extra storage. But while doing so, you have to compromise with dual SIM functionality.
Helio G25 is an octa core entry level gaming chipset. It is simply an underclocked version of Helio P35 (2.0GHz vs 2.3Ghz). This chipset can be seen in devices like Redmi 9A and other devices of Motorola.
Meanwhile, the handset runs on Android 10 with near-stock Android experience. Thus, you won’t receive any pirating ads and bloatware like other budget handsets.
As mentioned earlier, there’s a dual camera setup aligned vertically at its rear. It consists of a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture paired with a 2MP macro shooter. Here, the primary sensor supports Phase Diction Autofocus(PDAF). On the front is a 5MP sensor. Both front and rear can capture videos up to 1080p @ 30fps.
Battery and Miscellaneous
Moto E7 Power is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery which should last more than a day. It supports 10W charging via USB Type-C.
On the connectivity front, the E7 Power supports dual-SIM, 4G, single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, GALILEO). Likewise, it also comes with all the essential ports and sensors like a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
In addition, there’s a dedicated Google Assistant button also.
