Micromax made a comeback in the Indian market last year with the IN series smartphone. Giving continuity to the series, the company has unveiled the Micromax IN 2b smartphone. It is the successor to the IN 1b which is another entry-level smartphone. Here, we’ll look into the specifications, features, availability, and estimated price of IN 2b in Nepal.

Display and Design
To begin, the IN 2b features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The device features an 89% screen-to-body ratio and a brightness of 400 nits. It is a 20:9 panel that covers up to 71% NTSC color gamut.
The back of the phone features a radiating glow design. Likewise, you’ll find a dual-camera module, fingerprint sensor, and speaker arrangement of it back. On the front, there’s a teardrop notch for the selfie camera and a large bottom bezel, as we’d expect from a budget handset. Further, the phone comes in three different color options: Black, Blue, and Green.
Performance
The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC. The processor is built on a 12nm node, with two Cortex-A75 (1.8GHz) and six Cortex-A55 (1.8GHz) CPU cores in the core cluster. Arm’s Mali G52 MP2 is in charge of graphics. For memory, it has up to 6GB of RAM. It also has 64GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage.
On the software front, the handset boasts stock Android 11. It is a big upgrade from last year’s IN 1b (Android 11 vs Android 10 Go edition). Similarly, Micromax is still offering two years of Android updates for these smartphones.

Camera
In terms of photography, the Micromax IN 2B has a dual-camera configuration on its back. The main camera has a 13MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It’s followed by a 2MP depth sensor that records depth information.
A 5MP camera is located on the front for selfies and video calls. The rear camera can record 1080p footage at 30 fps and take HDR photographs.
Battery and Miscellaneous
The phone is fueled by a 5000mAh battery that enables 10W charging. It has 4G connectivity, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 connection. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Micromax IN 2b Price in Nepal and Availability
In India Micromax IN 2b is priced for INR 7,999 for 4/64GB, while the 6/64GB variant costs INR 8,999. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting August 6 via the company’s official website.
