LG has added a new smartphone to its budget portfolio labeled as the Aristo 5. The smartphone is part of LG’s Aristo series which was first introduced in 2017. The smartphone comes with entry level specification and a matching price tag.
LG Aristo 5 Overview
The Aristo 5 comes with a 5.7” HD+ FullVision LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1520 pixel. It has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and comes with thick bezels on all sides. There is a U shaped notch housing a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
For imaging on the back, there’s a dual camera setup placed inside a horizontal module. It includes 13MP primary sensor accompanied by a 5MP wide sensor. Further, there is a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication on the rear panel.
The Aristo 5 ships with MediaTek MT6762 octa-core processor. It is only available in single configuration with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Similarly, the device boot on Android 10 OS out of the box.
Fueling the device, there is a 3,000 mAh battery. As per company, the device offers up to 10 hours of talk time. However, the device lacks fast charging as it is entry level smartphone. Moreover, it comes with a microUSB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE for connectivity.

Price and Availability
The Aristo 5 is only available in single color option which is silver. It is available for purchase in the US through T-Mobile at $150 (roughly Rs. 18,100). Similarly, global availability of this smartphone is unannounced.

If the smartphone makes it’s way to Nepalese market asking price around Rs. 18,100, it would be overpriced. Other brands like Realme and Xiaomi offers good handset for the price point.
