We all are familiar with the process of shutting down, restarting, hibernating and sleeping the computer, and it takes three clicks to do these tasks. But what if I say you can do these tasks in just two clicks. You need to create an icon on your desktop to do that: create a dedicated power sub.
In this article, we have decided to share a new way to do these tasks as the older conventional method looks boring. Also you can create a dedicated power sub save a click.

Creating a Shutdown Icon on Windows 10.

To create a power sub icon we need to create a customized shortcut. So, let’ do it.
Step 1: Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select New then Shortcut.

Step 2: Under the Shortcut wizard, type the location – Shutdown.exe /s /t 00

Step 3: After it’s done, click on ‘Next’and then type name for the new shortcut as ‘Shutdown’ or anything and then click on the ‘Finish’ button.

Step 4: Now the shutdown icon on the desktop is created. Double click on it to shut down your PC.

Creating a Restart Icon on Windows 10.

To create a restart icon follow the steps similar to that of creating shutdown icon but in the command section enter Shutdown.exe /r /t 00.

Creating a Sleep Icon on Windows 10.

To create a sleep icon implement steps similar to that of creating shutdown icon but in the command section enter rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0

Creating a Hibernate Icon on Windows 10.

To create a hibernate icon follow the above steps but in the command section enter rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll,SetSuspendState
