The Japanese Branda, Honda has teased out the new ADV bike through a video. There is a high chance that the entry-level bike Honda is teasing out is the Honda NX200. NX200 is based on Hornet 2.0 with a 184.4cc engine. This will be the proper competition for the Hero Xpulse 200. So, let’s take a quick look around with teased bike’s specifications, features, and expected price of Honda NX200 in Nepal with its availability.
Honda NX200 Overview
Design
The all-new NX200 looks like it has a proper ADV design as seen on the teaser video. However, it will be quite difficult to break down all the looks and specifications from the teaser video. So, from the video, we can get a slight glimpse of the front fairing which confirms the ADV conversion of the Hornet 2.0. The headlamp is powered by LED lights. Moreover, we can say it has a most derived look from Honda CB500X.

Engine
It is sure that the engine will be 184.4cc which is a 4-stroke, 2-valve, BS6 engine. It is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, SI engine. And it can generate a max power of 17.26 PS @ 8500 RPM and max torque of 16.1 Nm @ 6000 RPM. However, it might get different tuned for different performances.
The NX200 will have a 6-speed manual transmission and but not disclosed other details like fuel tank capacity.
Dimension, Suspensions, Wheels and Brakes
As mentioned earlier, it will be difficult to break down every detail of the bike from a short teaser. So, we don’t know the dimension details. One thing from the video, it looks like it has USD forks on the front.
Features and Miscellaneous
It could have the ABS for braking and a digital cluster on the dash. The side indicator on the front is placed on the knuckle guard.
