So let’s wait for Honda Nepal to announce it.

Anyway, let’s look at the detailed specifications, features, and expected price of the Honda CB300R in Nepal.

The CB300R naked sports bike carries cafe racer style. It gives the modern touch to retro cafe racer. Like in the cafe racer, the handlebar is placed lower. The rider will need to lean but not as in a sports racing bike. The headlight is in a circular shape with LED lights and DRL. It is directly joined with the upside-down shock. Due to the naked body, even the radiator can be seen clearly from the side and front. Also the engine is visible which is in all black color giving a bold look.

Again to the lights, it has all LED lights including side indicators and tail lights. Then it has a stylish fuel tank with a unique shape. The fuel tank is tall and broad at the front near the handlebars and narrows at the seat side. The riding seat looks comfortable but smaller than on other bikes. It comes with a split seat design, so the pillion seat is a little higher than the rider seat.

The footpeg is aligned in the center of the body, which tends to give a comfortable position. Then you can see the exhaust which looks quite stylish.

Engine, Transmission

Honda CB300R packs a powerful 286.01 cc engine. It is a liquid-cooled, 4 Stroke and Spart Ignition (SI) engine. It utilizes Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection system – PGM-FI technology. The engine can produce a 30.70 bhp of power at 9000 rpm. Similarly, it has the capability of generating max torque of 27.5 Nm at 7500 rpm.

This bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox and multi-plate wet with assist and slipper clutch. Further, it has a 76 mm bore and 63.043 mm stroke. With a compression ratio of 10.7:1, it has a self-start mechanism only.

The huge-looking tank can store up to 9.7L of fuel only. Where we can expect the mileage to be around 25 to 30 Km/L on Nepalese roads.

Dimension, Suspensions, Wheels and Brakes

Straight to the point, it measures 2017mm in length which is the ideal length of normal bikes. Though it looks shorter in length, tires add to the ideal length. Then the width is 802 mm which is the handlebars width. Likewise, the height maxes out at 1047mm. Note that the seat height is 801 mm only. This means a 5.5-foot rider will have no problem stepping on the floor comfortably.

Moving on, it has a ground clearance of 157 mm which is enough for city roads. The suspension on the front is a USD telescopic fork with a travel length of 41mm. The rear is provided with a 7-step adjustable mono-shock with a swing arm.

Honda CB300R comes with a 110/70 radial tubeless tyre and a 17-inch alloy wheel on the front. The rear alloy wheel also measures 17-inch however, comes with a 150/60 sized radial tubeless tyre. Additionally, the wheelbase measures 1352 mm.

For braking, Honda CB300R uses a disc brake system. The front disc measures 296mm in diameter whereas the rear disc measures 220mm. Additionally, for safety, it uses dual-channel ABS with IMU.

IMU stands for Inertial Measurement Unit. IMU is a safety system for braking. This allows traction and wheelie control while you brake hard. Also, senses the lean angle while braking with ABS. IMU is a more advanced safety system than ABS.
