Hero Xpulse 200 4V has been officially launched in India.
This all-new adventure bike recently dragged a lot of attention, after its short teaser on social media. Finally, Hero MotoCorp has revealed the bike target to the adventurous rider for the price of INR 1,28,150 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Xpulse first debuted with the BS4 version in 2019, since then it has gone through three iterations. The latest edition comes with a BS6 engine, a better oil-cooler, a new dual-tone color that helped make it a more well-rounded package with better engine refinement levels.
In the context of Nepal, the Hero Xpulse is one of the most popular and loved motorcycles. With the announcement of the new-generation Xpulse in India, everyone is wondering if this model would be available in Nepal.
So, let’s take a closer look at the features, specs, and Hero Xpulse 200 4V price in Nepal along with its availability.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V Overview
- The 2021 Hero XPulse 200 4V takes on the Royal Enfield Himalayan, and KTM 250 Adventure in Nepal.
- The new XPulse features subtle design changes, but the main highlight is the introduction of the 4-valve engine.
Design
Starting with the design, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V hasn’t changed significantly compared to the 2V model except for the new color scheme, revised body graphics, and a new LED headlight.
The color options available are Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid.
Moreover, it still comes with a tall-set front fender, knuckle guards, a roomy saddle, and an upswept exhaust. Additionally, there is an option for Rally Kit also.
Engine
The most notable change to the Xpulse 200 4V is the BS6 compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve engine. This motorcycle also gets a Hero’s XSens programmed fuel injection technology. The engine churns out 19.1 BHP of power @ 8500 RPM and 17.35 Nm of peak torque @ 6500 RPM.

Comparing to the existing Xpulse 200 that gets a 2-valve configuration, this motorcycle delivers more power across the mid and top-end speed range, as well as reduces vibrations at high speeds. Similarly, the cooling system is updated with a 7 fin oil cooler for better heat management. The cooler significantly improves the transmission setup, offering better strength and durability.
Further, the engine has been paired with an updated five-speed gearbox for better acceleration.
Dimensions
The Hero XPulse 200 4V weights 158 kg. It has a seat height of 825mm and offers 220 mm high ground clearance making it perfect for the adventurous rider.
This motorcycle has a fuel capacity of 13 liters and can deliver a mileage of around 40 kmpl.
Suspensions, Wheels, and Brakes
To begin with, Xpulse’s tubular diamond frame is suspended by a 37mm conventional telescopic fork and 10-step adjustable mono-shock suspension. The wheel travel offered by these units is phenomenal, 190mm at the front and 170mm at the rear, along with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels.
For tyres, it gets the same 21- and 18-inch wheel combo, with 90/90-21 tyres in the front and 120/80-18 at the rear. The dual-purpose tyres, an accessible seat height of 825mm, and high ground clearance of 220mm provide a well-rounded package on the 2021 Hero XPulse 200 4V.
Moving on, an aluminum skid plate protects the engine, a new toothed brake pedal (a 276mm front disc with ABS and 220mm rear disc brake) provides maximum grip and control, and an upswept exhaust enables deep water crossing.

The Hero XPulse features a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, gear indicator, Eco mode, and two trip meters.
