Doohan iTank Overview

Design

The iTank is more muscular and has a rugged design. It looks quite different from the iTango in design. Though this one is also a dual-front wheel scooter. From the front, it somewhat looks like an AI robot with two wheels to move on. It has a circular LED headlamp which looks like peeking out from the body design itself. Then you will notice an LCD screen on the dashboard as the console of the scooter. You will also get the side indicators on the side of the fairing beside the headlight.

The handle bars look quite comfy and have a start button, side indicator switch, ride modes button and a high-low beam switch. Moving on, the body design can be called a futuristic design. The seats are sleek and narrow which has a futuristic design. It doesn’t have an under seat storage unit. Still, it looks very comfortable for riding. The footrest area isn’t the same as other normal scooters. It has a partition for foot rest with a huge box type area. That box contains a 60V lithium battery of the scooter. It flaunts in three different colors: White, Red and Black. Moreover, it weighs only 99 Kgs curb. The dual battery model weighs 108 Kg.

Performance

Doohan iTank comes with a powerful 60V 26AH Lithium battery. It gets fully charged in just 6 to 7 hours and uses 4A charge power. Battery weighs around 9 Kgs only, making it possible to charge anywhere anytime by carrying out the scooter. In the international market, it comes in two models, single battery and double battery. Also, it has a rated power of 1825W which comes from BOSCH Motor. It is a customized motor from BOSCH with FOC, CAN-BUS and EABS Technology. And it can generate max torque of 128 Nm with a climbing angle of 15-degree.

Company claims it has a top speed of 45 Km/h at max speed mode. It is also tagged as the second gear of the scooter. It has two riding modes: Standard & Limited speed mode (first gear) and Max speed mode (second gear). The limited speed mode can provide 25 Km/h of top speed only which is tagged as first gear. Moreover, one full charge can provide a range of 60 km (estimated for single battery). And 80 Km range for dual battery models.

Suspension and Brakes

The iTank uses a unique DDWT-S technology (Doohan Dual Wheel Technology) suspension on front which is made by the company themselves. And it is an oil damping shock absorber. Also, the rear one is oil damping shock absorber. The new gen dual-front-wheel suspension can steer with the angle of 34-degree and can lean up to 30-degree. Similarly, it has a track front of 460 mm and can take 180 mm drop height easily.

About braking, it has disc brakes on all three wheels. And it uses hydraulic disc brakes in all three. The front brakes measure 160 mm in diameter and have dual piston calipers. Similarly, the rear brake measures 190mm in diameter and has a dual piston caliper in it.

i-Tank features a fully digital LCD console with necessary indicators. Interestingly, it has a cruise control feature for your long rides. It will help in maintaining the same speed for long rides and will help in resting your rest. It has a small LED light on the key which comes very useful in dark surroundings.
