Crossfire Tracker 250 Overview

The all-new updated Tracker 250 still looks like a classic retro-looking dirt bike but has a modern touch as well. The Tracker 250 has a very old-school look that most people did like in a first look. The change we can see in the first place is the headlight. It now comes with a LED headlamp instead of a halogen one. Then it has the same long telescopic on the front connecting with the spoke wheel. There are no visible changes on the tank or body meaning it has the same narrow tank like on other dirt bikes. The narrow seat is obvious in dirt bikes but this one looks more comfortable than other dirt bikes.

And we can see the same rail on the rear side exactly after the pillion seat. Which can be used for carrying bags while you go for trail rides. Another change is that we can see the tail light. The shape of the tail light is still the same but is now LED. The bike also comes with a mudguard at the rear tire. Also, there is a metal engine guard underbelly which is a kinda good thing.

Engine, Transmission

Like other dirt bikes of the Crossfire, it does not come with a 250cc engine. Instead, it comes with a 223cc 4-stroke engine. It is a single-cylinder, 2-valve, and air-cooled which can generate a max power of 20.27 PS @ 8000 RPM. Similarly, it can generate a max torque of 18.5 Nm @ 5500 RPM.

The previous model, Tracker 250 had a 5-speed manual transmission only. The upgrade gives it a 6-speed gearbox transmission. Moreover, it can store up to 7.5 liters of petrol/fuel on the tank. Which will give a range of 30Km/l as claimed by the company themselves.

Dimension, Suspensions, Wheels and Brakes

Tracker 250 has a long twin telescopic fork which will give no problem with the massive bumps. Also, the rear has a mono-shock absorber which works pretty well with any kind of road. There is no doubt with the ground clearance as it is well built for trail rides as well.

While you are off-roading, the first thing you will want will be a spoke wheel and Tracker does have it. It comes with a 19-inch rim on the front and a 16-inch rim on the rear. The front tire measures 80/100-19” whereas the rear measures 120/90-16”. The front disc measures 200mm and the rear one measures 180mm. It has a standard brakes only where it misses the ABS also.

Features and Miscellaneous

The next upgrade on this bike is a digital cluster on the dash where it had an analog in the previous model. The indicators are also LED lights. One more thing we can see is a USB charging port.

The tracker can allow you to ride in higher gears with low RPMs which helps a lot in consuming less fuel. By this, you can save more fuel.
