In Nepal, the Crossfire HJ 250 is one of the most popular dirt bikes. It now has a Dark Edition, which is rather appealing.
This new color option was presented today through Livestream by Classic Wheels Export and Import, Nepal’s sole distributor of Crossfire motorcycles.
The bike, on the other hand, receives no upgrades other than dark paint colors. The rest of the hardware and engine are identical to the previous model.

In terms of price, the Crossfire HJ 250 Dark Edition costs Rs. 6,55,000 in Nepal.
Let’s take a deeper look at the new Crossfire HJ 250, including its features, specifications, price, and availability.
Crossfire HJ 250 Overview
Design
The style of the HJ 250 remains aggressive and adventurous from the previous year. It has a one-of-a-kind multi-LED headlight up front. The side profile appears to be quite similar to the front view, with no visible differences.
Similarly, the dark colors and sophisticated graphics add to the overall look. It has a single-seat with a premium appearance, LED indicators, and a tail light at the back.
The bike’s sharp tank shrouds, vibrant red highlights, a metallic engine guard, and alloy wheels adds to the aggression.
Engine
HJ 250 is powered by a 249.6cc single-cylinder SOHC engine that generates 19 kW of peak power at 9000 rpm and 22.5 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm. The bike is equipped with a liquid cooling system that includes two radiators with air circulation covers.

In addition, the KEIHIN carburetor fueling system ensures consistent fuel supply. It also has a 6-speed transmission, which provides plenty of power on the road.
Dimension
The HJ 250 has dimensions of 2320 mm in length, 1300 mm in height, and 830 mm in width. Seat height can be decreased by half an inch. However, doing so shortens the suspension, potentially voiding the bike’s warranty.
The HJ 250 has a total weight of 109 kg, which is lighter than other dirt bikes; the HJ 250’s lightweight design makes it extremely maneuverable. The wheelbase of the bike is 1500 mm, and the ground clearance is 330 mm, which is rather good for a dirt bike.
The bike has a fuel capacity of 10 litres. According to the company, it can achieve a mileage of 30 kilometers per liter. There are two types of ignition available: electric and kick.
Suspension, Brakes and Wheels
The frame of the HJ 250 is made of Chromium-Molybdenum Steel with an Aluminum subframe. Fully adjustable telescopic forks in the front and a CNC linkage spring in the back handle the suspension responsibilities.
Further, thanks to the dependable front dual-piston caliper and rear single-piston caliper discs with a SZC braking system, the bike can be stopped at high speeds.
Crossfire HJ 250 Dirt Crossfire HJ 250 Motard
Before getting into wheels the HJ 250 comes in two flavors: Dirt and Motard. The only distinction between the two models is the tyres. The HJ 250 Dirt is equipped with mud-terrain tyres, while the Motard is outfitted with street tyres. The Motard version has front tires that are 110/70-17 and rear tires that are 140/70-17. The dirt variant, on the other hand, is equipped with a 3.60-21 in the front and a 3.60-21 in the back.
