Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 Overview
The NS 125 somewhat looks similar to the elder sibling NS 160 and NS 200. Firstly, it comes with the same halogen headlamp as in the other NS sibling. Still going through the looks, there is a wind visor above the headlamp.
And the muscular looking tank looks exactly the same with new paint jobs. Also, there is 125 written on the tank fender as 200 written in NS 200 and so on in NS 160. It has a split seat where the pillion seat is in upper height. Moreover, it weighs only 144 Kgs whereas NS 160 weighs 7 Kgs more and NS 200 weighs 12 Kgs more.
So, Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 comes with a 124.45 cc 4-stroke BS6 DTS-i engine. Moreover, it is a single cylinder, SOHC 2 valve, air-cooled engine where NS 160 is also air-cooled. Moreover, it generates a max power of 11.99 PS @ 8500 RPM and max torque of 11 Nm @ 7000 RPM.
Further, the fuel tank capacity is 12 liters which is the same in elder siblings as well. And has a 5 Speed transmission gear box. The chassis type is Single Downtube perimeter Frame. Moreover, it comes with FI (Fuel Injection) System. And it has both a kick starter and self/electric starter.
Wheels and Suspensions
The NS 125 comes with 17-inch Aluminum alloy wheels both front on rear. At front, it comes with an 80/100-17” size tubeless tire. Whereas, the rear comes with 100/90-17” tubeless tires.
Further, it is built with a telescopic fork in front. Similarly, the rear is built with Nitrox mono shock absorber with 5-step adjustable.
Moving to the brakes, it is provided with disc brake at front and drum brake at rear. Also, it gets single channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for safety. Moreover, the front disc measures 240 mm. The rear drum measures 130 mm in diameter.
Pulsar NS 125 features a semi-digital console where the tachometer is analog and the ODOmeter is digital. Digital console shows many other indicators as well. Most importantly, it features a Tripper navigation system.
